By intervening at specific obstacles in the pathway to homeownership, FaithLife Homes, LLC has created a path for families to move from instability to equity.
Through strategic partnerships and leveraging the skills of members, FaithLife Homes, LLC recipients receive instruction in financial literacy, homeownership education, and the satisfaction of realizing that their housing costs will begin building equity in the home they may one day own.
It is important to note that the FaithLife Homes model instigates change through home ownership, not temporary assistance. The eventual homeowner is given the tools to be successful through a three-year transitional structure of the responsibilities of home ownership, financial literacy, and social support from the FaithLife community.
